School holidays and only a week until I get my exam results for year 4. I am now performing in a band with my boyfriend Richard Dunn and our friend Tommy Gielingh as The Bus Stop Band. First gig was on the 26th July 2008 and was OK. :) We also started www.ChapelRecords.co.uk to help all young musicians in the area to have somewhere to make a start on their music promotion. | |

| Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 3:26 PM | | Hey everyone- I had a bit of a busy few months what with winning X Factor's Knowing Me, Knowing You video clip competition, doing more public performances like jamming sessions and open mics in the local area and of course school.
I am in my fourth year and am doing standard grade as well as some highers and will finish school a year early in 2009 because I would like to consider working in music then.
Richard and I have been asked to send off demos to a publisher so we are going to go to Edinburgh
more...to a recording studio to do some recording for that.
That and we have been entering a few competitions here and there just to get used to public performances and stuff. I am getting WAY better in terms of the shyness so I am really pleased.
Anyway, just to say that I am not doing as many music videos and probably none at home unless Richard sets up our silly equipment better and manages to do a bit of recording with me. I have been writing my own material but song-writing is hard for me. I love the blues but cannot write them when I am happy. Lolz xxxBrigid less

Sorry it has been so long but the Summer/Autumn has been hectic: Returned to school and straight into studying for the mocks this week and next, won Tube Idol over on YouTube with my rendition of Turn Me On, met local musicians to jam with and went to The Rotary Club Musician Of The Year competition (see video), won the Knowing Me, Knowing You competition on ITV for The X Factor (see video) and went down to London to the live show of week more...2 of X Factor (saw Celin Dion- she is PHENOMENAL in real life!), was asked to sing Amazing Grace on Peace Walker, a film for peace by Tara Golden, have been approached by a few music executives interested in my own material, in me doing sets at concerts and some interest in signing me. On TOP of all that I have met someone who I now sing duets (see videos) with- Richard Dunn is a local musician singer/songwriter who is totally awesome. All in all life is just amazing at the moment.
