He was just like any other abuser who murders his victim and then commits suicide to avoid being punished for it. I notice when he got out of the truck and put his own flames out, he never even considered rescuing the dog he was slowly burning to death... He made a statement - and that statement was, "I inflict pain on those who trust me."
