Cooked sweet potatoes are safe for dogs to consume and are a healthy treat which your dog is sure to love. Some different ways which you may want to experiment with preparing sweet potatoes for your dog include mashing your sweet potatoes or pureeing your sweet potato. Particularly if you have an older dog, which has trouble chewing on hard snacks.

Steamed asparagus:

If you want to add more green vegetables to your dog’s diet. You may want to steam a few asparagus heads, which you’ll be able to cut up and serve to your dog.

Peanut butter:

Did you know that you can safely serve your dog a spoonful of peanut butter as a treat? Just be sure to opt for unsalted peanut butter. As too much salt, is not healthy for your dog’s diet.
