4 Must-See Destinations on a U.S. Road Trip

Traveling

13 Apr

Travelling allows you to explore the unknown while potentially discovering parts of yourself. Everybody knows there are many benefits to traveling and is ultimately good for the soul. This does not mean you must get on an expensive flight to some exotic destination and not look back. Sometimes you need a small group of loved ones along with your curiosity and hit the road. It is time to get moving on that long-awaited road trip. Four places that offer a mind-altering experience are Dallas, Mt. Rushmore, Bryce Canyon, and Boulder.

Dallas, Texas

Dallas is a place you must visit at least once in your life, and once you’ve fallen in love with it like many others, there are many Dallas houses for sale. As the ninth-largest city in the U.S., Dallas offers a culturally different experience with a thriving nightlife, bustling artwork, and cuisine. If you do not go for the vast array of delicious tacos and other Tex-Mex foods, then make sure to find the stunning architecture it acquires. Dallas’s exciting history and outdoor fun will have you intrigued as soon as you get there.

Mt. Rushmore, South Dakota

It is important to appreciate America’s pride and significant accomplishments, Mt. Rushmore being one of them. You owe it to yourself to visit this colossal monument and view it with your own two eyes. Originally made to attract people to the Black Hills region in South Dakota, this iconic landmark is a great place to stop on your road trip. The sheer idea of carving presidents in the rockface is ingenious and unremarkably ambitious. This national memorial is something to finally cross off your bucket list, not to mention feel super patriotic while doing it.

Bryce Canyon City, Utah

Bryce Canyon National Park is an extraordinary place to visit and incomparable to anywhere else in the U.S. It offers memorable sunsets, enormous and steep multi-colored rock pillars, high alpine meadows and forests, and the darkest starry night skies. Its surreal landscape is filled with surprises around every corner and allows for picturesque hikes. Less crowded than many other National Parks, Bryce Canyon has endless features, including hoodoo labyrinths, an amphitheater, soaring rock fins, and dense, aromatic pines.

Boulder, Colorado

Facing the breathtaking Front Range, Boulder’s laid back yet still active lifestyle is only one of the many reasons this beloved city is so popular. Fun outdoor activities are offered around every corner, as well as delicious food options. Boulder is a great place to go for constant sunshine and relaxing in a glorious atmosphere. Its vibrant colors and beautiful gardens will make you want to be outdoors all day long. Since it is next door to such great mountains, it is necessary to hike along the trails to recognize Boulder’s true worth.

Road trips create a once in a lifetime experience that grants you a break from your life and a chance to escape the mundane of work. If you finally give in to the pressure, make sure you take lots of pictures and enjoy yourself as much as possible.
