This time last year I was weighing up some options in terms of what my career choices were going forward and I had been interested at the idea of running an Amazon FBA business. Amazon FBA is a business model whereby you sell items through Amazon, but they are the ones who handle the storage and the shipping of the products. It was when I stumbled across the Nine University reviews, an online course which helps people to find success through this business model, that I realized the benefits of going back to deduction as an adult, something which I hadn’t previously given much thought to. As it happens I didn’t opt for the Nine University course, great as it looked, but I did take on a short business course at a local academy to boost my knowledge, and here is exactly why I would recommended anyone to go back to university as an adult.
Career Change
Up until last year I was working in finance, and had been for 22 years. I studied and trained for this career and to be honest I did think that this would be my life until I retired. I honestly never thought that I’d be able to switch careers having been in this one for so long, but going back to education ensured that I would be able to get the skills required to be able to completely switch careers, no matter how old I was. If you are looking for a career change, then this is great way to do it.
Meeting People
Beyond work and perhaps attending some sort of club, meeting people as an adult is not quite as easy as it was when we were younger. What I have found since attending this short course however, was that I have been able to meet some truly remarkable people and some who I know that I will be friends with for a very long time. Not only is this a great chance to meet people, you are doing so in a place where you both have a shared interest, which makes for the perfect ice breaker.
Health
In the long term, continuing to learn new things and new ideas is incredibly beneficial, especially when it comes to the effects of health issues such as dementia which affect the brain. This is a great argument for always ensuring that you are trying to learn new skills and ideas. In the short term however I have found a great boost in my mental health and I have found new confidence, I have been a generally happier person and I have no doubt that this has also had an advantageous effect on my physical health.
Simply put, I believe that we should all continue our education for as long as possible, learning new skills and knowledge, and improving our lives in the meantime, and speaking from experience I can certainly recommend it.
