5 Perks of Switching to Brief Underwear

Lifestyle

3 May

Every man has different preferences and opinions about the style of underwear he chooses. Whether he opts for flowy boxers or more fitted boxer-briefs, that is his prerogative. We aren’t here to tell these men that they have been wrong for decades about they underwear choices, but rather we’re just here to education men everywhere on the benefits of brief underwear.

Maybe you will never feel comfortable making the switch to undergarments that are so form-fitting. It might feel weird at first to have no fabric grazing your thighs, but even so you should still give it a try. Here are 5 perks of switching from your current underwear style to briefs.

They offer optimal support

The support offered by briefs is unmatched by any other style of men’s underwear. The pouch of any pair of briefs is directly attached to the waistband; this not only offers support but also protection. If athletes aren’t opting for a jockstrap, they often choose a brief to stay as protected as possible from game-related injury.

They provide sex appeal

There is nothing sexier than a man who is confident enough to wear a brightly colored pair of briefs. Not only is a man’s junk well-defined with the fitted underwear, but it shows that a guy is truly confident in his own skin. You can fully take pride in your body by slipping on a fitted pair of briefs each morning. Go all out with a funky color or abstract pattern to spice things up a bit.

They’ll give your thighs a chance to breathe

Briefs generally only cover the genitals and not much else, meaning the thighs are completely exposed. This might feel unnatural to someone who is used to longer boxer-briefs or boxers, but once you get used to it there is nothing that feels so freeing.

They’re perfect for exercising and swimming

Since briefs don’t extend down the thighs, they are the ultimate type of men’s underwear for exercise and swimming. We’ve already mentioned that they are great in terms of protection of the genital area, but there is something even better.

Since there is no extra fabric, you won’t experience any uncomfortable bunching while you do deadlifts or hop in the pool for an afternoon swim. Another reason that briefs are great for fitness junkies is because the fabric used to make them absorbs sweat better than any other type of underwear.

They can actually improve fertility in men

This has been up for debate for decades, but science has officially proven that wearing briefs can actually improve a man’s fertility. Since they are extremely open and only cover the genitalia, this allows for air to pass in and out of the area.

This will keep your junk cooler than if you were wearing boxers, which is great for sperm counts. High temperatures aren’t good for your swimmers, so switch to briefs if you want to optimize your sperm count.
